What a week!
Wow is all I have to say about this week. For a change, my emotions have been rollercoastering for actual reasons, not just because of my health problems!
The week started on a low, with Cosette leaving after an epic week and my CFS kicking up enough to force me to take a day off work. You know it’s bad when you wake up on Monday morning and can’t physically lift yourself out of bed. Anyone who has this or a similar condition will know what I’m on about.
Once I managed to get over that, things started to improve. Work was a nightmare due to playing catchup, along with all the stupid users appearing out of the woodwork (I’m wondering if this has any relation to the big sporting event that’s kicked off this week…….). However, I’ve had some things in my personal life which have made me smile (ok, glee is more like it) and good news from Impius and Areya at NER this week too, congrats guys and I look forward to another early morning phonecall when this little one arrives!
Speaking of NER, things are up and down here too. We’re still working the bugs out of the new site, but we are winning the battle! This week has marked the departure of a couple of staff for various reasons (sometimes I hate being a manager), but we have a number of new DJ/Presenters in the pipeline which is keeping us busy. I also sat in on the PR team meeting last night and I’m impressed by the ideas which were discussed – I think the next few months will be interesting :D
So, the week is almost over, I have a gig tonight right after the England-USA match so it should be EPIC! Before that, I need to go collect my Storm2 from Voda and see if it’s fixed (again)! As for tomorrow….I’ll discuss that another time ;)

Ah you need a proper vacation Phil. I wish more people realized how much work you put into the station. Im sure its your own blood sweat and tears and money =P Sometimes things are not as great as you want them to be but success takes time, its never overnight. But theres always hoping, things are such an uphill battle right?
