Yet more changes
I’m going to aim for a post a fortnight, seeing as I fail at managing weekly atm! Been some changes since my last post, although not all are obvious on the surface.
I’ve taken the decision to step back from active management of NER, handing the day to day over to Triton. A number of factors influenced this, from issues within staff regarding my relationship with Cosette (this was a key factor) to some which have been ongoing for a while regarding my health. I’m still going to be running the technical and financial side, but this will all be behind the scenes and means I can do the work when I feel up to it (pending major emergencies with the servers of course!).
I’ve also started actively looking for a new job. I’ve been looking inside my current company for a new role for a while and there is very little which doesn’t require moving back down south, which I’d rather avoid. This leaves me looking outside the company for new opportunities, and while I’m not going to rush into anything, I am now looking instead of being content with the status quo.
Hopefully the above changes will mean I get more time, both for myself and to spend with Cosette, who I have finally managed to get to try EVE Online! I’ve just reactivated my account too, so keep an eye out for Tempest3K ingame if you play :)

Change is always good =) Taking a step back gives you time to reflect and put your priorities in perspective. Changing jobs is always a big step in life as you’ve grown accustomed to the daily routines. Its good your thinking you can have a better job and more pay, never short change yourself and your abilities, if you want something you have to take the chance and go after it! I dont really know exactly what health problems you have but i do hope you get better soon. Yea i talked to Cos when she was playing eve thats great hope she finds it enjoyable as an mmo. If you guys ever need anything in eve let me know.
