Merry Xmas
Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays depending on what you prefer) :)
As usual, I have failed at the regular updates, so here’s what’s happened over the past month or so:
New Eden Radio: When I shut the station down in October, I said to the management team that if anyone was interested in taking over, I would transfer ownership to them. Earlier this month Hijak got in touch and he has now taken ownership of the station. It will be returning to an EVE-Online focus and relaunching in early 2011. I have agreed to join the station as a DJ and will be offering support for the relaunch as well as the webhosting. The site is back online at http://www.newedenradio.com and I would hope to see updates on there in the new year.
Laptop: I finally got this sorted! I’m typing this blog post on a Dell XPS 17 which I’m quite happy with after a month of use – it runs all my games (EVE, STO, TF2 etc) quite happily, although it’s a bit bulky for trips!
RL: Haven’t had much luck on the work front with the roles I’ve applied for, and this is hampered by the fact work are closing down a call centre in the next year or so meaning more people going for vacancies! I’ve decided to stay where I am for now as the post is pretty secure as well as being local :)
All good on the home front too, Cos still seems happy to put up (<3 Cos) with me despite the fact I’ve been ill quite a bit lately (stupid CFS). Making the most of a few days off, hoping that taking things a bit easier will do me some good. I survived the annual party in Nov and turning 31 so I guess that’s something :)
Also trying to do the good boyfriend thing – already sorted Cosettes birthday present, I’m sending here off to London just after her birthday in Jan to see wicked along with TJ :)
Think that’s about all for now – check back in a month or two and see if I’ve remembered to blog again :p
